Do you moms let your kid go in the front yard unsupervised? I don't. It freaks me out. If I lived in a small town I would, but not in the city. We have a high latch on our front door to prevent escapes so I think I'm freaking my kids out or something. Mostly because tonight Annabelle said this:
Mom--did you know that when Jesus comes again--I can go in the front yard.
Apparently--she will not be allowed freedom until Jesus comes again.
Oh crap--I am crazy

If you are crazy, you are not alone, because I am the same way!! NO WAY do I let my kids play alone! NO WAY.
Maybe our kids can play together once Jesus comes again.
just wait till i come watch them. we will play red-rover in the street. woo hoo!
psych. thats terrible. i would never.
your not crazy your a good mom! Once Livvy was running from my moms to our house and a police officer stopped and came up to the open door and told us not to let her out front unsupervised! Then once I put livvy in time out at my house while I was talking to my mom at her house and Livvy answered the door to a semistranger that brought her over to my moms!! Yikes!! The front yard is scary!
You are not crazy. I don't let any of my kids play out front alone. And I have 2 older ones. Maybe when there is a "teen" in their age. Maybe.
If this defines crazy, then I hope the psych wards have enough padded cells, because there's gonna be a big crowd at the crazy house. No worries, we aren't the crazy ones. The truly crazy ones are the reason our kids have to wait for Jesus to play in the yard! How cute is your kid??? That is the best thing I've heard in a while.
I remember....and I love the small town life now! It's so much less stressful....but the shopping SUCKS!
Not only is mine not allowed in the front yard alone... she won't be allowed to date untill she's 35 or least the guy has to have a full FBI background check and at least be independntly weathly with a condo in Hawaii for me....Am I asking for too much?
