I was shopping at Trader Joes and a young twenty something store employee stopped me, "Mam", she said, (Mam?? is she really talking to me? mam??) "where did you get your cardigan?" (now that's more like it) "LOFT" I answer. And she stares blankly--"you know, Ann Taylor's LOFT?" Still blank. So I instruct her where to find a store, and move along. So I have found my niche-my choice of caridigan color-still cool, my choice of store to purchase it at--only cool to those of us "Mams".

I still think you are way cool!!! and, I am loving your new blog! I love your pictures but I have to say I have missed not hearing what you are up too--so I greatly look forward to all the fun things that you will have on here. As for McGonagall--those were some really great points and it could for sure be her! can't wait to see and hear more of your "everyday" life!
Very interesting idea...
Freak, that article poses a compelling argument. It very well could be McGonnagal. Now I want to go back and read through the books with this new perspective. By the way, I love the title of your blog. It's a funny theory with adult coolness. I'm sure you're way cooler than the average 30 something mom though. I do remember though, how old I thought all my mutual leaders were(and un-cool) and I realize now, they were not much older than I am now. Do we need to go on "What Not To Wear" and learn how to embrace our aging?
Wow. That is a compelling argument. It kind of makes me sick to think that that is possible. I have been re-reading the 5th book because of the new movie and I need to take that article into consideration.
PS: I love your photo blog and I admit I look at your pictures quite often.
Since I don't see you that often...from what I do see of you I think you are way cool. Plus you are married to my really cool cousin so why wouldn't you be cool :)
