Dear Santa,

I realize the economy sucks and we are beyond broke. So I realize I will get none of this for Christmas. However, I thought I'd give you a head start on next year when things should be looking up. (hopefully for everyone). I'm not sad, I'm actually beyond happy for all of the things I have--a house that I should be in for years, enough money to pay our bills, the prospect of better income in the future. Remember my obsession with Bento boxes? Well I finally decided on these three. The one on the left is Josie's, the middle is Kizzy's and the right is Annabelles. I got them in the mail finally (well I'm waiting on one) and I love them. They are smaller than I thought. But I think that is the point. Correct portion size. If you are going to get one for a kid older than Kindergarten I'd go for the double deckers. Because they are small.

Anyhow I bought them from Kir Devries. Can I tell you I have had THE BEST customer service I've ever had in my ENTIRE LIFE. So check out their site. There are so many fun things on there from bags to bottles to kitchen gadgets. Tons of fun stuff. So buy from them because I am now a seriously big fan.

I've done gone crazy. I'm obsessed. And can't decide. One layer, two layer? The super cute ones that I love that I think are cheap plastic, or the ones that I really like that are BPA, lead and phthalates free. ARGGHHH.

Shower Curtain

Remember FOREVER ago when I was trying to decide on a shower curtain? Well I never did until now. THIS little number I found at Bed Bath and Beyond. I wanted a shower curtain with either gold or purple. I actually wanted one that was fully purple, but this is the best one I've found. You'd be amazed how hard it is to find a cool shower curtain. I did find a cool white ruffly one that resemebles an Anthropology one, but it was only $30. But I didn't want white. Anyhow, I'm happy because now i have a direction to go in with my bathroom. When I get it done I'll share pics.

Mad about Plaid

What the what--Walmart? Yes. Thanks to WalMart, I spent the last $20 out of our budget for January to purchase these lovely ladies.

I have always wanted a cute pair of plaid heels.

Red Dress

About a year ago I saw a gorgeous red dress in Anthropologie. Of course I wanted it, but I couldn't afford it. And I've ALWAYS wanted a red dress. Now I check mod cloth and I see this one. I want it. $90.00. I have no problem spending that amount of money on a dress, because the dresses I have in my closet I have had for years. And this one is bright, hip and long enough. But Hy's in school and it's not in the budget. Seriously . . . I'm trying to figure out how to swing it. And then I'm also telling myself that it would show up and not fit right and I'd be disappointed--that's how I try to make myself feel better.

You see, he write books for adults disguised as childrens books. So both mother and child enjoys.

What sucks is that my house is an ugly brown color and needs painting, but that won't happen for a few years, we have to wait until Hy's done with school for the funding.
